Raffi Associates

We are located over in Virugambakkam, right on 4th Main Road. Sri Ayyappa Nagar is a quiet enough spot for an office, though it gets busy during school hours. Raffi started this place years ago and it has stayed small. It’s just a few of us now at No 207. We do a bit of everything regarding building and planning. Most of our days are spent on the phone or driving out to different sites. Chennai heat is no joke, so the office AC is usually running full blast all afternoon. We aren't a huge firm with dozens of assistants. If you call, one of us will probably pick up the phone directly. We help people with their house plans and the basic stuff you need to get things built without too much trouble. Sometimes it's confusing with all the rules, so we spend a lot of time explaining things. It’s a lot of sketches and rough drafts before we get to anything final. We’ve got stacks of paper everywhere and the printer jams more than it should. We’ve lived in this part of town for a long time, so we know the local vibe. Some projects take longer than others. That’s just the nature of construction. We don't promise things we can't do. If we're backed up, we'll tell you straight. We mostly work with local folks around here who just want a decent place to live or work. It’s not flashy. Just some folks in an office trying to get the job done right.
