We are located at No-6 on Umpherson Street, right on the 2nd floor. If you’re looking for R. K. TAPES, the best way to find us is to look for the Hotel Saravana Bhavan nearby in Broadway. This area is always buzzing with people and traffic. It’s one of those parts of the city where you can find almost anything if you look hard enough. Our place is up a narrow set of stairs. It’s not the easiest climb if you’re carrying a lot, but we do it several times a day. Inside, it’s mostly rolls of tape and packing materials everywhere. We’ve got shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. It can get a bit stuffy in the afternoon, so we usually keep the windows open to let some air in from the street. You can hear all the shouting and the horns from down below, which is just the sound of Broadway, really. We’ve been here for quite some time now. We aren't some big high-tech firm. We just handle tapes and supplies for whoever needs them. Most of our customers are locals who’ve been coming to us for years. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny furniture.
