Our office is based at 4/16 Defence Colony in Ekkaduthangal, which is a busy part of Chennai. Being in the cargo airline business means things are always moving at a fast pace around here. We aren't located right at the airport, but we are close enough to keep everything running smooth. The Quikjet Cargo Airlines Pvt Ltd team works out of this space, and it’s usually full of people tracking flights and checking cargo weights. Chennai gets very hot, so the fans are always spinning in the office while we go through the manifests. It is a bit of a residential feel in Defence Colony, which is nice because it’s a little quieter than the main industrial zones. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of coffee being drank to stay sharp. We deal with a lot of logistics and timing is everything in this line of work. If a plane is delayed, we are the ones who have to figure it out. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we are here late into the night. We just try to stay organized and make sure the goods get on the right flights. There is a lot of back and forth with the ground crews. We like it this way, just staying focused on the job without any unnecessary fluff or corporate talk that gets in the way of moving cargo.
