Quality Exports

We run Quality Exports from two different spots in Egmore. One is at No. 10f Whannels Road and the other is at 55/4 Kalavai Street. Having two places means we are always moving back and forth during the day. Egmore is a crowded area, so even a short trip between the two addresses can take a long time because of the traffic. At the Whannels Road office, we mostly do the paperwork and keep our main files. The place on Kalavai Street is where we handle more of the actual goods. It can get a little bit messy when we have a lot of stuff coming in and going out at the same time. We have an old scooter that we use to get through the narrow lanes to save time. The office at Whannels Road has high ceilings, which is nice, but it still feels full because of all the ledgers we keep. We have been around this part of Egmore for many years. Most of the local people know who we are by now. We do not have a lobby or a place for people to sit. It is just desks and shipping crates everywhere. Sometimes we grab a quick meal from the nearby food stall and eat while we look over the manifests. It takes a lot of work to keep things straight at both Kalavai Street and Whannels Road. We just keep at it until everything is sorted.
