Quadra Architects Private Limited

Our office for Quadra Architects Private Limited is tucked away in T Nagar over at Kannama Vedha Apparts. If you know Chennai, you know how Varatharajan Street can get, especially when the weather is humid. We’ve been working out of this apartment space for a while now. It’s not one of those glass buildings you see in the newer parts of the city, but it has its own character. Most of the morning is spent with drawing tools and computer screens. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going. T Nagar is always loud and moving, which is nice in a way because you never feel isolated. Our address is 600 042, right in the thick of things. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking on the street, so we usually tell people to come by bike if they can. The rooms aren't huge, but they fit our desks and all the blueprints we have lying around. It gets a bit cluttered during big projects, with sketches everywhere and rulers on every flat surface. We don't really do the whole corporate suit thing here. It’s more about getting the lines right and making sure the measurements actually work. Sometimes the neighbors in the apartments pop their heads in just to say hello. It feels like a neighborhood business even if we are a private limited company. We’ve got a small team and we just focus on the work in front of us.
