Our office for Psa India Pte Ltd. is located right on Umapathy Street in West Mambalam, Chennai. Even though there's a Singapore connection in our name, this is where we do our daily grind. West Mambalam is a busy, traditional part of town, and being at number 11 puts us right in the thick of it. The street can be quite narrow, and when the local market gets going, it’s a real experience just getting to the front door with all the people and scooters. We have a modest setup here. It’s not a big glass tower or anything. It’s a regular building where we handle the logistics and paperwork that comes our way. The team is pretty tight-knit. We’ve all been through the hot Chennai summers together, usually with the AC running as hard as it can to keep us from melting. We don’t really go for fancy titles or big-shot attitudes. We just focus on the tasks that need to be finished by the end of the day. There’s always someone coming or going with some document, and the phone seems to ring at the oddest times. It’s a practical, local operation despite the international ties. We like the neighborhood because everything you need, from a good tea stall to a stationery shop, is just a short walk away. That’s pretty much us—just a hardworking crew in a busy Chennai street, trying to stay on top of everything.
