Here at Procon Instrumentation, our main office is at Sakthi Towers on Anna Salai, specifically in unit 1H. It’s one of those buildings that everyone in the area knows. We work on instrumentation, which means we deal with a lot of precise measurements and technical gear. The office isn't very large, so things can get a bit cluttered with all the instruments we have lying around. We’ve been at this location for quite a while now. The commute into this part of the city can be a real headache, but being central helps us stay connected to everything. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. Most of our day is spent looking at data or checking over equipment that’s come in. It’s quiet work for the most part, except for the occasional sound of the phone ringing or someone moving crates. We’re a small group, and we’ve gotten used to how each other works. There’s no corporate ladder to climb here, just tasks to finish. We like the fact that we can walk out and find plenty of food stalls nearby for lunch. The building is older, but it’s sturdy and does the job for us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the technical stuff that comes across our desks. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the time.
