Prestige Textiles

Prestige Textiles is located at No. 40-A on Thennampalayam Main Road. Being on the main road means we see a lot of traffic and people going by every day. Our shop is filled with all kinds of fabrics and rolls of cloth. It can get a bit overwhelming with all the colors and patterns everywhere. We have been here for a good number of years. The building is an older one, but it has plenty of space for our stock. We don't have a big fancy storefront. It’s mostly just the shelves and a counter where we cut the fabric. Thennampalayam is a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We spend most of our time helping people find the right material or measuring out meters of cloth. Sometimes we get a big shipment and it takes us all day just to put it away. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know where everything is. It’s a lot of standing on our feet, but we don't mind. We keep the fans running to stay cool since the sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon. It is a straightforward business. We don't do any big marketing or anything like that. People just know we are at 40-A and they come in when they need something. We just try to keep the shelves full and the prices fair. It's a steady business and we like the people who come in to shop with us.
