We focus on kid leather, and we have been in this industry for quite some time now. Our office and workspace are all in one spot in Sporton Nagar. It’s a very industrial part of town, so there is always the sound of machinery and vehicles in the air. We don't have a fancy corporate office with a receptionist. Usually, if you come by, you’ll just find one of us working at a desk or checking some leather samples. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and making sure our orders are ready to go out. The building at No 21 is a practical space, not something made for show. We like it that way because it keeps our overheads low. Most of our staff have been around for years and they know the leather trade inside and out. It’s a small, tight-knit group of us. We aren't looking to become some massive corporation; we just want to keep doing good work here in Ambattur. It gets pretty dusty and busy around here, but that’s just the nature of the leather business in Chennai. We’re just regular people doing a regular job.
