We are located on 15th Street in Valasaravakkam, specifically at number 181 in Chowdry Nagar. Chennai is a big city for publishing, and we’ve found our little niche here. We focus on specialty magazines, which means we aren't doing the big daily news stuff you see everywhere. Instead, we work on specific topics that certain groups of people really care about. Our office is a busy place with stacks of paper and old issues everywhere. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is. The team here is small, and we handle everything from picking the articles to making sure the printing looks okay. Valasaravakkam is a good neighborhood to work in, though it gets a bit crowded during rush hour like the rest of Chennai. We spend a lot of time talking to writers and photographers and trying to get the layout just right before it goes to the press. It’s a lot of long hours and staring at screens, but seeing the physical magazine when it finally arrives is a good feeling. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to keep putting out magazines that our readers enjoy. It’s a tough business these days with everything going digital, but we like the feel of real paper. We just keep working away at our desks here in Chowdry Nagar. There is always a new deadline right around the corner.
