Precious Electronics Corporation is situated on the first floor of V C T Chambers. The address is 8 Athipattan Street, right off Mount Road. This part of Chennai is always moving. We’ve got an old-fashioned office. It’s got high ceilings and those heavy wooden desks that have been here forever. We deal with various electronic parts and components. Our shelves are stacked high with boxes, and sometimes it’s a bit of a hunt to find exactly what a customer is looking for. We don’t have a website that’s updated every day or anything like that. We mostly rely on people knowing we are here. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep. We’ve got a small window that lets us see the street below, which is usually jammed with motorcycles. It’s a bit noisy, but you get used to it. We spend our time testing parts and talking to people who come in with specific technical needs. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don’t have a dress code. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable for moving boxes around. The air conditioner is old and makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it keeps the humidity down. We’ve been a part of the Mount Road business scene for a long time. It’s just a regular place for people who need electronics.
