Pratikraj Exports is located over at 12 A Abi Ali Street in Anna Colony. It is a quiet enough street most of the time, which is nice when we are trying to get work done. We have been here long enough that the postman knows us by name. The work we do involves a lot of coordination with different people to get goods ready for shipping. It’s mostly just sitting at desks, making calls, and checking on the quality of what we are sending out. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees, just a local team doing our part. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit outside for a bit, but usually, we are inside grinding away at the daily tasks. We don't use a lot of fancy software, just basic spreadsheets and notebooks to keep track of everything. It works for us. The building is an older one, but it’s sturdy and gives us the space we need for our inventory and the small office area. People in Anna Colony are friendly, and it feels like a good place to be based. We try to stay on top of the regulations and the shipping schedules, which can be a headache sometimes. There’s no big secret to how we run things, we just show up every day and do the work that needs doing until the job is finished.
