Prakash Pet Clinic

Our pet clinic is on Bajanai Koil Street in Villivakkam. It is tucked behind Goodwill School, so you can often hear the kids playing and shouting during their recess while we are working on the animals inside. It is near Drj Hospital too, though we only handle the four-legged patients. The street number is 11/19, and it is a typical residential-feeling road. We see a lot of dogs and cats, and occasionally someone brings in a bird or a rabbit. The waiting area is small, so if a couple of big dogs come in at once, it gets pretty loud and crowded with barking. We try to keep things clean, but with pets, there is always a bit of a mess to mop up every hour. We have been here a few years now and the local pet owners all know where we are. We do not have fancy grooming stations or a pet boutique; we just focus on the medical side of things like shots, stitches, and checkups. My assistant lives just down the road, and we try to stay open as late as we can for emergencies. It is a simple clinic with a couple of exam tables and some basic medical supplies. People like that they do not have to drive all the way into the main city to get their pets looked at by a vet. It feels like a neighborhood spot because it is. We know most of the dogs on this street by name.
