Prabha Cars

Prabha Cars is situated at No 46 on Sarangapani Street. We are right in the middle of T Nagar, which everyone knows is one of the busiest parts of the city. Being so close to the T Nagar Bus Depot means there is never a quiet moment. You can hear the buses pulling in and out all day long. Sarangapani Street itself gets quite narrow with all the parked bikes and people walking by. It can be a bit of a headache to navigate if you aren't used to it. Our building is an older one, but it holds up well enough for what we do. We get a lot of foot traffic just because of where we are. People are always rushing to catch a bus or heading to the shops nearby. We see a lot of different people every day. It’s a fast-paced area, but inside the shop, we try to just focus on the task at hand. The humidity in Chennai can be tough, especially in the afternoons. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay in the shade when possible. There isn't much space for anything extra, so we have to be smart about how we use the shop. It's a tight squeeze sometimes, but it works for us. Living and working in T Nagar means you get used to the constant buzz. It’s just how things are at number 46 on the street.
