Praba'S Vcare Health Clinic (P) Ltd. is located over at Y-38 on 5th Avenue in Annanagar. Anyone who lives in Annanagar knows how the avenues are laid out, but 5th Avenue always seems to have something going on. We’ve been at this spot for a while, and the building has that typical local look you see all over this part of Chennai. Inside, it’s mostly just rooms for consultations and a small area for people to sit while they wait. The chairs are the basic kind, nothing too soft, but they do the job. We start early most days, unlocking the gate and getting the lights on before the sun gets too high. It can get pretty humid, so the air conditioning is usually running full tilt by ten in the morning. We see a lot of different people coming through the doors, some just for a quick check and others staying a bit longer. There’s a lot of paperwork to deal with, which takes up a good chunk of the day at the front desk. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main roads, but you still hear the occasional street vendor calling out. We don’t really go in for big advertisements or anything like that. People just find us because we’re here on the avenue. It’s a straightforward operation, just a clinic trying to stay organized and take care of the daily flow of patients. We try to keep the magazines on the table somewhat current.
