P.R. Homoeo Clinic

Down on Medavakkam Tank Road, you’ll find P.R. Homoeo Clinic at number 64/97. Kilpauk is a busy area, and our stretch of the road is no different. There’s a constant stream of cars and buses going past the front window all day long. It makes for a lot of noise, but you stop noticing it after a few hours. The clinic isn't very big, just a few rooms where we keep our supplies and see anyone who comes by. We’ve got an old wooden desk and some chairs that have seen better days, but they’re comfortable enough for a short sit. The air can get a bit stuffy when it’s humid out, so we keep the fans going as much as we can. It’s a humble sort of place. We don’t spend much time worrying about how things look as long as they’re clean and we can find what we need. Most of our day is spent talking to people and checking through our bottles and records. Medavakkam Tank Road has its own rhythm, and we’re just one small part of it. We see a lot of people who are just passing through, as well as the regulars who live right around the corner in Kilpauk. There’s always a bit of tea being made in the back and the sound of the door opening and closing. We just stay busy with our work and don’t make a big deal out of anything at all.
