Ppn Power Generating Company Limited is up on the 3rd floor of Jhaver Plaza. The address is 1-A Nungambakkam High Road, which is right in the middle of everything in Chennai. This part of town is always moving. You can hear the traffic from the street even when the windows are shut. Jhaver Plaza is one of those buildings that has seen a lot of people come and go over the years. Our office isn't one of those high-tech glass boxes you see in the news. It’s a regular office with desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of paper. Power generation is a big topic, but our day-to-day is mostly just managing the details from these desks. The elevator in the building can be a bit slow during the lunch rush, so some of us just take the stairs to the third floor. It’s good exercise, I guess. We have a small pantry where the coffee machine lives, and that’s usually the heart of the office. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that writing polished brochures. We’re just a group of people making sure things run like they should. Nungambakkam High Road is a great place to be if you like food, because there are so many spots nearby to grab a quick bite. We just work our hours and handle the business without making too much of a fuss about it.
