Power Crafts

15A/22A, Lawyer Jaganathan Street in Guindy. Guindy is known for its industrial units and workshops. We are one of them. Power Crafts is tucked away on this street. It’s a practical workspace. We have tools and machinery everywhere. It smells like grease and metal. The floor is stained from years of work. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come in, you’re likely to find us in our work clothes, probably fixing something or checking a part. It gets loud when the machines are running. We have a small desk in the corner for the paperwork, but most of the action happens on the shop floor. The street outside is busy with other workshops and delivery vans. It’s not a quiet neighborhood. We have a small water cooler and a calendar on the wall that’s a few years old. We don’t worry much about the decor. It’s about the work we do with our hands. We take on various craft and power-related jobs. Some of them are simple, some are more complicated. We just figure it out as we go. It’s a honest day’s work. We close up the shutters at night and start all over again the next morning. It’s how we’ve always operated here in Guindy. There is a small tea shop at the corner where we go for our breaks. Sometimes the rain makes noise on the roof.
