If you’re looking for Popular Abrasives, we’re up on the first floor of Papni Apartments. It’s in Brindavan Nagar, which is part of the Valasaravakkam area. The apartment building is one of those typical residential-looking places where a few offices have moved in over the years. You have to walk up the stairs to find us. It’s not a huge space, but it’s enough for what we need. We handle all the abrasive stuff from here, mostly sitting at a couple of desks and making sure the orders are straight. The view from the window is just the street below, which can get pretty crowded during rush hour. Valasaravakkam has changed a lot, but this little corner feels mostly the same. We have been here for a bit, so we know where to get the best snacks and when the water guy usually shows up. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy meetings or anything like that. It’s mostly just us doing the work, answering the phone, and checking the inventory. Some days are busier than others, especially when a big delivery comes through, but we manage. It’s a regular office in a regular neighborhood. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. Popular Abrasives is just a small team working out of a flat, making sure things stay on track day by day.
