Rathidevi Exporter is over at No. 12 in Kandaswamy Nagar. We are specifically on the 1st Cross Street here in Poonamalle. It’s a decent area, mostly quiet enough to get our work done without too many distractions. We arrive in the morning and start going through the logs. There is always something to pack or a shipment to look at. The street isn't very wide, so we have to be careful when things are being delivered. We are just a small group of people working together. It’s not a big fancy operation. We have a few rooms where we keep everything. The floors are concrete and the walls are just painted a simple color. We don't have a big sign or anything. Most people who need us know where we are. Poonamalle gets quite busy in the afternoons, but our little corner stays okay. We spend most of the day talking to drivers and checking the items. Sometimes the computer acts up and we have to wait for it to work again. It’s just the usual day-to-day stuff. We make sure the gate is closed at night and come back the next morning. It’s a steady way to live. We don't have any big speeches to give about what we do. We just do it because it’s our job. That’s how things are here at number twelve. We try to be helpful when people ask us questions about our street or the area. Usually we just point them the right way.
