You can find us in the Shivalaiya Building, specifically in A-Block on the 7th floor, room 702. Being on Ethiraj Salai in Egmore means we are right in the thick of Chennai's city life. The view from the 7th floor is mostly of other rooftops and the heavy traffic crawling along the road below. We spend our days dealing with polymers, so our office is usually cluttered with small bags of plastic pellets and different samples of molded parts. The lift in this building is often slow, so we end up waiting around a lot when we are trying to get samples down to the courier. It is a standard office setup, nothing too special, with a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets for our orders. The air conditioning is always running because the Chennai heat can be brutal, especially this high up in a concrete building. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and checking on shipping dates. It is a lot of paperwork and tracking numbers, which keeps us pretty busy from morning until evening. Sometimes we walk down to the local stalls near the building for a quick lunch or a coffee. The building has a lot of other businesses too, so there are always people coming and going in the hallways. We just try to keep our corner of the 7th floor organized enough to find what we need when a customer calls.
