Plaza Group

Our office is on 14-Selav Vinayagar Kovil Street in Choolaimedu. If you know Chennai, you know how tight these streets can get. It is right near the temple, so we hear the bells and the morning prayers quite clearly. Plaza Group handles a mix of different things from here. It is an old building, and the stairs are a bit narrow, so moving heavy furniture in was a nightmare when we first moved in. Choolaimedu is always crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping or heading home. We sit here with the windows open, but that means a lot of dust comes in from the road. Our staff has been together for a while, and we usually eat lunch together at the big table in the back room. There is a lot of paperwork to do, mostly keeping the different parts of the business organized. It gets humid during the monsoon, and the walls sometimes get those damp patches, but we just paint over them when we can. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. Just a local group doing our work in this corner of Chennai. Sometimes the courier gets lost because the street names around here are a bit confusing, so one of us usually has to go out to the main road to wave them down. It is a busy place to be, but it keeps us busy.
