Our place is at 19/16, Room No-9 on Karunanithi Street. If you know West Mambalam, you know how crowded it gets here in Chennai. It is mostly narrow lanes and shops everywhere. We handle Planning & Logistics from this small office. It is not some big glass building, just a regular room where we keep our files and computers. Most days it is just the sound of the ceiling fan and someone talking on the phone about a shipment. The address is easy to find if you are near the Metuppalayam side. We have been here for a bit now. The morning commute is a bit of a struggle because of the traffic, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We spend a lot of time checking schedules and making sure things are moving where they should. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and that is the highlight of the afternoon. There are piles of paper on the desks that never seem to go away. It is busy, but we get things done in our own way. We are just a bunch of people trying to keep the logistics side of things running without too much trouble. It can get quite hot in the summer months, but we have the windows open when the breeze is okay. It is a simple setup really, nothing fancy to look at, just a workspace where we spend our ten hours a day.
