Pka Bags & Printing

Our business is situated at No. 2/3 on 12th Street in Mosque Colony, which is part of the Maduvinkarai area in Guindy. It’s a bit of a residential spot, so it’s not as frantic as the main roads, but we stay busy with all the bag orders and printing jobs that come in. We have a few printing presses and sewing machines that take up most of the room in the shop. It gets a bit warm in here during the summer months, but we keep the fans going and just get on with the work. We handle a lot of different requests, from small batches of printed items to larger bag orders for local events. It’s a small operation, and often it’s just a couple of us managing the machines and the paperwork at the same time. The street outside is usually quiet except for the occasional delivery truck trying to navigate the turn. We didn’t set this up to be some high-end boutique; it’s a working shop where we get our hands dirty with ink and fabric every day. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the day fixing it ourselves before we can get back to the actual orders. That’s just the way it goes when you’re running a small place like this. We like being in Guindy, and most of our customers are from right around the corner.
