Phoennix International Logistics

You can find us on the first floor on Angappa Naicken Street, right above Saleem Stores. It’s near the main road in the Parrys area. At Phoennix International Logistics, we spend our days dealing with international cargo. The office is often full of the sounds of the street below. We have a lot of desks pushed together. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where every paper is located. Parrys is a place where a lot of trading happens, so it makes sense for us to be here. We deal with the logistics of moving items across borders. This means a lot of checking on rules and making sure the forms are filled out correctly. We aren't corporate people with suits. Most of us just wear comfortable clothes and get to work. Sometimes we have to stay late to talk to people in different time zones. It’s just part of the deal. We have a small kitchen area where the kettle is always on. We take turns making coffee. The building is an older one, and sometimes the lights flicker, but we don't mind much. We are just here to do a job and help get things shipped. It's a lot of coordination and phone calls, day in and day out. We just keep at it and hope for clear weather.
