We are based on the 5th floor of Temple Tower. This building has been around for a while, and the address can be a bit confusing because it has an old number, 476, and a new number, 672. We are right on Annasalai in the Nandanam area. If you look out the windows from the 5th floor, you get a pretty good view of the traffic moving down the main road. Being in Temple Tower means we share the space with a lot of other offices. It is a bit of a climb if the elevator is acting up, which happens now and then. The office for Philips Electronics India Ltd. here isn't like a big factory; it's more about the paperwork and the planning side of things. We have rows of desks and a small area for coffee. The air conditioning is always running because the Chennai heat is no joke outside. Most of us take the bus or the metro to Nandanam and then walk the short distance to the tower. It’s a busy part of the city, and lunchtimes are spent finding something to eat in the nearby streets. We don't have any grand displays here, just people at their computers doing their jobs. It is a steady place to be, right in the middle of the city's hustle and bustle on Annasalai.
