Aravindh Exports is tucked away at 24 Kattur Sadayappan Street in Periamet. If you’ve ever walked through Periamet, you know it’s a place where everyone is busy and there’s always something happening on every single corner. We’ve got our small office here, and it suits us just fine for what we do. We handle various exports, mostly focusing on the things this area is known for. The street is quite narrow, so getting big deliveries in and out can be a bit of a puzzle sometimes, but we’ve gotten pretty good at it over the years. Inside, it’s mostly just us at our desks, surrounded by files and samples. It’s not the quietest place, with all the street noise and horns coming in, but it keeps us alert. We don’t go in for big advertisements or any of that. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been doing business with us for years. We like it that way. It’s more personal. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and chat until it comes back on. It’s a very human way to run a business. We know our suppliers by name, and they know us. There’s no corporate talk here, just plain speaking and getting the orders filled. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of stock, but we make it work. Just a regular business in a busy part of town.
