Penta Packaging

Out here in Chinnalambadi Village, things are a bit different than the city. Penta Packaging is located at Survey Number-78/2, which is past the Anambakkam Post. If you're coming through the Salavakkam way in Uthiramerur Taluk, you'll eventually find us. It’s quite a stretch of road to get out to this part of Kancheepuram District, but we like the space we have. The facility is where all the packing happens. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of stacks of materials. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It's mostly just the floor where the machines are and the space for the trucks to come in and out. The dust can get a bit much in the summer months. Most of the guys working here are from around the local area. We keep to a pretty strict schedule because the logistics out here can be tricky if you miss a pickup. We’ve been at this spot for a bit now and it works for what we do. It’s a practical setup. No one is wearing suits here, that’s for sure. We just focus on getting the orders ready and making sure the counts are right before things head out. It’s quiet at night, but during the day it gets loud with the equipment running. That's just life at the plant, and we're used to the noise by now.
