Mafco

Our office, Mafco, is at No. 8/8 Stringer Street. We are right across from the bus stand in Parrys, so there is never a dull moment. You can hear the buses pulling in and out all day long, and the horns are just part of the background music for us now. It’s a prime spot for being in the middle of everything. We handle a variety of business tasks from this little office. The space is a bit cramped because we have so many files and supplies tucked into every corner. We haven't bothered with fancy furniture because we're usually too busy to sit much anyway. Most people who come by are just looking for quick help or picking something up. Being in Parrys means everything is fast-paced. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most folks just see our sign when they’re waiting for their bus and stop in. It’s an old building, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it has character. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the other shop owners on Stringer Street. We just do our work, close up at the end of the day, and do it again tomorrow. It’s a straightforward business without any of that corporate fluff you see in the big towers. We just keep the files organized and the coffee pot full.
