If you go down to Parrys in Chennai, you’ll find us on P V Iyer Street. Indu Dental Products is at number 26. Parrys is an incredibly crowded area, always full of people and goods moving around. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We sell the things dentists need—tools, materials, and small equipment. It’s a niche business, I suppose. Our presence in this building has lasted for many years. It’s an old part of the city, and the streets are very narrow. Boxes are stacked up to the ceiling most days. It’s not a fancy medical suite. It’s a supply store. Most of the dentists and clinic assistants in the area know us. They drop by when they run out of something. Much of our time is spent counting out small items or checking expiry dates. It’s a lot of detail work. Sometimes the heat in Chennai makes the shop a bit uncomfortable, but the fans keep going. We don’t do much advertising. People find us because we’ve been here so long. It’s a family-run kind of feel. We aren't trying to change the world. Making sure the local clinics have what they need to do their jobs is the main goal. It’s a simple operation, really. Just a shop on a busy street doing its thing every day. Space is tight, but we make it work somehow. It is what it is, and we are happy with that.
