Our place is on the second floor, No. 14/ 31 on Moore Street in Parrys. It’s quite a climb up the stairs, especially when we have to carry rolls of cloth or boxes. Parrys is a place that never really sleeps. There’s always something happening on Moore Street. Fashion India is just a small office and work area. We’ve been here long enough that the floorboards creak in certain spots. It’s not the most modern place, but it serves us well. We do our work, talk to people, and try to stay organized. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, though it’s mostly just roofs and wires. We don't have any fancy receptionists or waiting rooms. You just walk in and we're there. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with papers and samples everywhere. We try to tidy up on Fridays, but by Monday it’s a mess again. That’s just the way it goes. People know us by our address more than anything else. We’ve had the same neighbors for years. It’s a bit of a community on this floor. We aren't doing anything revolutionary. We just provide what people ask for and try to keep our heads above water. It’s a living, and we’re okay with that. It is a bit cramped at times, but we make do with the space we have. Moore Street is home for our business.
