Consolidated Shipping Line

Our office is located at 61 Moore Street in Parrys. If you have ever been to this part of town, you know how crowded it gets. The noise from the traffic and the people outside never really stops. We handle shipping work here at Consolidated Shipping Line. It’s mostly about managing paperwork and making sure containers are where they need to be. We don’t have a big, fancy lobby with a receptionist. It’s just a bunch of desks pushed together and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to overflow. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people at the docks. Sometimes things go smooth, and other times there are delays that we have to sort out. It’s not the most exciting job, but it’s what we do. The office gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We usually get our tea from the stall just down the street. It’s a busy environment and we’re right in the thick of it. We have been in this same spot for a long time. People know where to find us if they need help with their cargo. We don't use any complicated systems, just regular computers and a lot of pens. It’s honest work and we stay busy from morning till the sun goes down.
