Parpia House is on Poonamallee High Road. It's a busy place. Cars honk all day outside. We've been in this building for quite a while now. The rooms are filled with desks and old filing cabinets that have seen better days. Usually, there’s some tea being passed around in the afternoon. We handle different international things here. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know each other well. The walls are a bit yellowed, and the windows don't always open smoothly. It's just a regular workplace. Nothing fancy or modern like those glass buildings you see nowadays. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at documents. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we manage. You can see the traffic from the front window, and it never seems to stop. It's just how things are here in this part of town. We come in, do what needs doing, and head out. There’s a small shop nearby where we get lunch if we didn't bring any. The staircase is concrete and a bit worn down. We have some plants in the corner, but they don't get much sun. It’s a practical space for practical work. We’ve seen the city change quite a bit from this spot on Poonamallee High Road. Parpia International is just us working away every day. The reception area has a clock that ticks quite loudly, but nobody really notices it anymore. We have a small stack of newspapers by the door.
