We are up on the first floor at J-95 on Bharathi Street. If you know Pari Nagar in Jafferkhanpet, you probably know how crowded the streets can get. Our workshop isn't very big, but we have managed to fit everything we need in there. We spend our days working on different kinds of tools. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things twice. Sometimes the air conditioning doesn't work right and it gets a bit stuffy, but nobody really complains much. We just open the windows and keep going. We have been in this same spot for a while, and the people on Bharathi Street are used to seeing us coming and going. It’s not a glamorous job, but it pays the bills and keeps us busy. Most of our tools go to local shops and small businesses who need things that last. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign out front. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just walking up the stairs. The stairs are a bit steep, especially when we are carrying heavy boxes down to the street. We just take it one day at a time. Every tool we make passes through a couple of hands to make sure it is okay. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it has worked for us so far. We just want to do a decent job and stay out of trouble. Our days are long but the work is steady.
