Down in Park Town, specifically at No. 23 Ekambreshwar Araharam, is where you'll find Manoj Exports India. It’s an old part of the city and we like the feel of it. The streets are narrow and it can be a real pain to get trucks in and out sometimes, but we’ve learned all the tricks over the years. Our building has been through a lot, but it serves us well. Inside, it’s mostly desks and shelves filled with various things we’re getting ready to send out. We don't have any shiny signs or big displays out front. We’re just a regular business doing regular work. Most days are spent making sure the documentation is correct for the customs folks and talking to the transporters. It’s not very glamorous, but it’s the life we chose. We’ve had some tough times like everyone else, but we’ve managed to stay afloat by being careful with our money and not taking too many risks. We know the people in the area and they know us. That matters more than a fancy office in a glass building somewhere. We focus on getting the goods packed right so they don't break during the journey. It’s basic stuff, but it’s important. We just take things one day at a time here in Park Town.
