We've been at this spot on Nyniappa Naicken Street for a while now. It's the first floor, right near the temple. Most people know the area well. It gets pretty crowded around here, especially on festival days, but we manage. We just handle the day-to-day stuff and keep the shop running. My family and I are usually here from the morning until we close up in the evening. There isn't much to say about the building itself, it's just an old place where we keep our stock and talk to the regulars. Sometimes the stairs are a bit steep for some folks, but it's home for us. We do things the old-fashioned way, writing things down and keeping track of orders by hand. It works for what we need. When you walk up, you might see a bit of clutter, but we know where everything is. If the temple bells are ringing, you can hear them right through the window. It's a busy part of the city, and we've just become part of the noise over the years. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and plenty of work to get through. It’s a simple life. We've seen a lot of changes in the street, new shops coming and going, but we just stay here doing our thing. You learn to live with the chaos of the temple crowd. It's just another part of being on this street for so long.
