S K Industries

We are over at 1/122 on the Paraniputhur-Kovur Service Road. Our place is in Periyapanicherry, which is in Chennai. S K Industries has been operating here for a while. Being right on the service road is actually quite handy for getting things delivered. The building is just a simple industrial unit. It gets very hot and humid during the summer months, so we have a few big fans running all day to keep the air moving. We don't have a fancy office with a view. Most of the space is used for the machines and the materials we work with. The office part is just a desk in the corner where we keep our logs and answer the phone. We aren't a big company with a lot of levels. It is mostly just the owner and a few workers doing the daily tasks. We don't do any flashy advertising or anything like that. Most of our customers are people who have known us for years or who saw our sign while driving by. We focus on getting the work done on time. Sometimes the rain in Chennai makes the service road a bit difficult, but we manage to stay open. It is a basic, no-nonsense setup. We show up every morning, do the manufacturing work, and head home in the evening. It is just a normal, hardworking local business in Tamil Nadu.
