Paramount Overseas Inc.

Paramount Overseas Inc. is based out of Moulivakkam, specifically in Govindaraj Nagar. We have this plot, number 55 in B Block, and our office is F1. It’s a bit of a residential area turned business, so it’s got a different feel than a big industrial park or a downtown office building. We do a lot of overseas coordination from here, which means we spend a lot of time on emails and tracking shipments at odd hours because of the time differences. The office isn't anything fancy—just a few rooms with enough space for our files and the small team we have working here. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other times it’s hectic when a big order is moving across borders. We’ve been here for a while and the locals know us pretty well. There’s a tea stall around the corner where we usually go when we need a break from the computer screens. We don't really have a big corporate philosophy or anything like that. We just try to make sure the exports or whatever we are handling get from point A to point B without too many headaches. It’s a lot of logistical work and paperwork, but it’s what we know how to do. The neighborhood is okay, though the roads get a bit flooded when it rains really hard in the monsoon. We just keep our heads down and do the work, day in and day out, without making a big deal out of it.
