Karpaga Vinayakar Enterprises is located on 6 Rettai Pillayar Koil Street in Pammal. It’s a narrow street, and sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time getting through. Being near the temple means there is always a bit of a peaceful vibe in the mornings, though it gets busier as the day goes on. Our shop is filled with all sorts of items we supply. We don't have a big fancy showroom. It’s more of a warehouse feel where everything is stacked up. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and making sure we have what people need. Pammal is a good neighborhood, and we’ve gotten to know many of the locals. We don't really do much advertising. People mostly know us by word of mouth or by just walking past the street. The office part is just a small table with a ledger and a phone. We write everything down by hand mostly. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. Sometimes the street gets crowded during festival times, and we just have to wait it out. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us handling the daily tasks. We open up early and close once the work is done. It’s a steady way to live and work. We appreciate the quiet moments when they come. There is a small chai stall just a few doors down where we go twice a day for a break.
