Padma Art Printers

We are located at No 177/72 on Kodambakkam High Road. If you are coming from the bridge, we are right there near it. T Nagar is always crowded, as anyone who lives in Chennai knows. Padma Art Printers has been in this spot for quite a while. The noise from the traffic on the bridge is something we hear all day long. It’s a constant hum of buses and bikes. Inside the shop, things are a bit cramped because we have a lot of paper stock piled up. We do our printing work on the older machines mostly. They are loud but they do the job well enough for us. Sometimes the humidity makes the paper curl a bit, so we have to be careful about that. It isn't a fancy studio with air conditioning that works perfectly all the time. It is just a local print shop where we do our best with the ink and the layouts. Most of our regulars are people from the neighborhood or small businesses nearby. We don't spend much time on decorating the place. The focus is usually just on getting the ink to look right on the page. On rainy days, the water pools a bit near the entrance, and we have to put out bags to keep things dry. It is just the way things are in this part of T Nagar.
