We are located at No. 276 on Dr. Lakshmana Swamy Road in K.K. Nagar. It’s a well-known area, and our building is right there on the main stretch. We are in the business of medical distribution, so our day-to-day is mostly about moving boxes and keeping track of what goes where. The office is essentially a large room with a few partitioned desks and a lot of shelving. There is always a stack of invoices on someone’s desk and the sound of packing tape being pulled. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the delivery vans are loading up out front. We have a few fans going all day to keep the heat down, though it still gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons. Most of the people working here have been with the company since the start. We don't have a formal dress code; most of us just wear whatever is comfortable for moving around. We take our tea breaks at the small shop just a few doors down. The traffic on Lakshmana Swamy Road can be quite something during rush hour, so we try to get our big deliveries out early in the morning. It’s a practical, no-frills kind of operation. We just make sure the hospitals and pharmacies get what they ordered on time. There is always something to do, so the day goes by pretty fast. We like the neighborhood and the people around here.
