Latha Fab

Latha Fab is over at New No. 3 in the KR Complex. We are tucked away in the 1st Lane of Singaragarden. If you know the area, you know it’s a lot of small streets and busy shops. We deal with fabrics mostly. The shop is full of rolls of cloth and the smell of new textiles. It’s a bit cramped inside the KR Complex sometimes, especially when we get new deliveries in the lane. We have to move things carefully so we don’t block the way for others. Most of our day is spent measuring and cutting or talking to people who come in. Singaragarden has a lot of energy. There’s always someone calling out or a vehicle trying to squeeze through. Our space is simple. We have some sturdy tables for the fabric and some shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. It’s not a polished showroom, just a working shop where things get done. We’ve been at this New No. 3 address for a while now. The 1st Lane can be hard to find if you aren't looking closely. We usually have tea in the afternoon while looking out at the street. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we don’t mind it. It keeps us busy and connected to the local market. Latha Fab is just a part of the daily life here in Singaragarden. It gets loud but we are fine with it.
