You can find Mehta Export at No. 18 Basuvayan Street. We are right in the heart of Old Washermenpet. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s always crowded and full of energy. Our office is in one of those older buildings that has a lot of character. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea stall guy knows exactly what we want when we walk over. Our work is mainly about exporting goods. We spend a lot of time checking quality and making sure everything is packed tight before it goes to the port. The streets around here are narrow, so getting trucks in and out can be a real headache sometimes. We have to time everything just right. It’s a small team here, just a few of us handling the paperwork and the logistics. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby. People usually find us because they heard about us from someone else in the trade. We focus on getting the shipments out on time because that’s what matters in the end. Old Washermenpet is a hardworking area and we fit right in. There is always a lot of shouting and moving around outside, but inside we just keep our heads down and work through the manifests. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. We just keep doing what we do every single day.
