Sardar Sales Depot

We've been here at Sardar Sales Depot on Nyniappa Naicken Street for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot right near Memorial Hall in Parktown. Most people around here know where we are because of all the traffic. It gets loud outside, but we just keep doing what we do. Our doors open early and we stay until the evening. The shop isn't fancy, just shelves and items stacked where we can find them. We sell different things that people need for their daily work or homes. Sometimes the street gets blocked by trucks, which makes it hard for folks to reach us, but they still find a way. My father started this place years ago. He taught us how to handle the stock and talk to the regulars. We don't spend much time on the internet or making fancy signs. Most of our day is just spent moving boxes and checking what needs to be ordered next. If you walk past the park, you’ll see our sign. It's nothing special to look at, just a place of business. We try to keep things simple. Dealing with suppliers takes up a lot of my morning. Then the afternoon is usually about helping whoever walks through the door. It’s a lot of standing around and waiting, then suddenly everyone comes in at once. That's just how it goes in Parktown. We're used to the noise and the pace of the neighborhood.
