Our office and workshop is located at 36 Josiier Street in Nungambakkam. It is a central spot, so getting here is not too bad, though parking on this street can be a real headache sometimes. At Rudra Blades Edges Private Limited, we focus on the production and handling of various types of blades. It is a technical kind of job that requires a lot of attention to detail. The building we are in is quite old, so the rooms are a bit small and the hallways are narrow. We have our machines set up in the back and a small space for admin work in the front. It gets noisy when the grinding starts, but we are used to it by now. We are not a big corporation with hundreds of employees; we are just a dedicated group of people who show up every day to get the work done. We spend a lot of time checking the edges and making sure everything is sharp and straight. Sometimes we have long discussions about the best way to handle a specific type of steel. It is not the kind of job everyone wants to do, but we find it satisfying. Nungambakkam is a good area to be in, and we have been at this address for quite some time. We just keep our heads down, do the sharpening and the packing, and try to stay on top of the schedule.
