Nova Exports

Nova Exports operates out of No. 7/ 11b Saravana Flats on Venkateswara Avenue. Being in Sabari Nagar, Porur, means we are right in the middle of a residential area that has grown a lot lately. Working from a flat is different than a big warehouse, but it suits us just fine for now. We use the main room for all the sorting and the small balcony is where we keep some of the packing materials. It can get a bit tight when we have a big shipment coming in, and the neighbors sometimes wonder about all the boxes. We try to keep things quiet so we don't bother anyone. Porur is a busy place these days with all the new shops and people moving in. We’ve had to figure out the best times for trucks to come by so they don’t block the narrow street. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. We do the packing ourselves and double-check every address by hand. We don't have a secretary or a big reception desk. You just walk in and you'll see one of us working at a table. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We started this because we knew a bit about the export market and had some space here. Every day is mostly just answering emails and making sure the logistics are moving along. It’s not glamorous, but the work is steady and we like being in this part of town.
