You can find Harsha Fashions India Pvt. Ltd. over in Nolumbur. We’re specifically at Flat- 3, Block A 3, in Phase 2 of the DABC Aishwaryam complex. It’s a residential-style area, so it’s not like a big factory or a shop on a busy street corner. We operate out of this space, and it works well for us. It’s mostly where we do our planning, designing, and some of the smaller assembly work. The rooms are full of sketches, fabric swatches, and a few sewing machines that seem to never stop running. We’ve got a small crew of people who have been with us for years. We usually start the day with some tea and a quick talk about what needs to get finished by the evening. It’s not a fancy corporate office with glass walls. It feels like a home because, well, it is a flat. We have to be careful about the noise so we don’t bother the neighbors too much. Sometimes the couriers have a hard time finding the right block, so we end up standing out front to wave them down. We don’t use big marketing slogans. We just try to make sure every garment that leaves here is something we’re okay with. It’s a busy little place, and we’re usually surrounded by piles of cloth and thread. That’s just how we like it. Working here keeps us grounded and focused on the actual clothes.
