Our place is over in the Krishna Industrial Estate in Vannagaram. It’s a busy area with a lot of different businesses squeezed together. We’re in units 85 and 86, so it’s a decent amount of space, but it fills up fast with all the medical equipment and parts we handle. Working with medical systems means a lot of checking and re-checking. It’s not like other businesses where a small mistake doesn't matter much. We spend a lot of time at the benches looking at small components and making sure everything is put together correctly. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here to Mettukuppam sometimes with the traffic, but we’re used to it now. The air conditioning is usually running because the electronics don't like the heat, so it’s one of the cooler spots in the estate. We aren't much for corporate meetings or big speeches. Usually, it's just us in our work gear making sure the inventory is moving and the assembly is on track. We have some heavy crates coming in and out most days. It’s dusty outside on the roads, but we try to keep the inside as clean as possible for the gear. It’s a lot of practical, hands-on work every day. We just stay focused on the task at hand and try to get the orders out to the hospitals and clinics that wait for them. There is always a lot of testing before anything goes out the door.
