Newgen

At Newgen, we operate out of a small place at 16/26, Periyar Ramasamy Street in Ethiraj Nagar. If you know West Mambalam, you know how narrow these streets can get. It is a lively spot with a lot of people moving around. We have been here for a while now, and everyone on the street knows our faces. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular space where we get things done. Most of the time, the fans are running full speed because Chennai weather is what it is. We spend a lot of our time dealing with whatever comes across our desks that day. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic, but we are used to it by now. We usually have a lunch break where we just sit around and talk about whatever is in the news. It is a very normal, local setup. We don’t have those big glass buildings or fancy lobbies you see in other parts of the city. We prefer it this way because it feels more real. Being in West Mambalam means we are close to everything, which is a big help. Newgen is just a bunch of regular people trying to do a decent job every day. We don’t make a big fuss about things. If you walk past our door, you might hear us talking or the sound of the printer going. That is just how life is for us here.
