Our place is at Plot No. A on 4th Street in LIC Nagar, which is part of Madipakkam. It is a fairly easy address to find once you get into the LIC Nagar area. We have been here at Newfort Consultancy for a while now. The office is just a standard building on 4th street. It is not a high-rise or anything like that. We like it because it is a bit more private. The neighborhood is mostly houses, so it is not as chaotic as being right on the main commercial strips. Inside, it is just a normal workspace. We have our computers set up and a small area for files and records. We do not really do the whole corporate culture thing with team-building exercises or flashy mission statements. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and go home. Sometimes we stay late if there is a lot of work, and other times it is a bit slower. Madipakkam is a busy area these days, but LIC Nagar stays relatively calm. We have got some good neighbors and a few small shops nearby where we grab lunch or snacks. We do not put much effort into making the office look like a magazine cover. It is a practical space for practical work. We have stayed at this plot because it works for us and the commute is not too bad. Just a simple business on a simple street, really.
